The NYTimes profiled this wildly popular Iraqi answer to The Daily Show, which succeeds in making light of its nation's recent troubles with bloodshed and chaos. One of the show's standout comedic features is the fact that it's anchored by this guy:

I don't get it. Does this count as staying the course or not? Because before we were definitely staying the course, but now apparently we are mixing it up and NOT staying the course. It seems like this guy is definitely "mixing it up," but if he was mixing it up before, when we were staying the course, and he's still mixing it up -- then he needs to change the course and stop mixing it up. I know this is complicated but if he can just bear with us for a moment I'm pretty sure the middle east will be a lot better off.
