Was everyone else as in the dark about the existence of this movie as I was? Judging by the teaser trailer it's in color and seems to include Daryl Hanah and Rosario Dawson in the cast (or at least people who look a lot like them). Huh?

Yeah, I heard about this a while ago, but hadn't seen the trailer until just now (thanks for the tip, Greg). I don't think that's Daryl Hannah, but that's definitely Rosario.
Also, not to editorialize before the fact, BUT: I'm so sick of Kevin Smith and his self-imposed rut, I could fucking puke coat hangers. He's certainly not the least talented of his generation's little mini-New Wave, but he's undoubtedly the most fearful. These characters simply don't interest me anymore.
Yeah, he certainly doesn't seem too interested in trying anything different or more ambitious -- maybe the least of that "generation" of directors. Kind of depressing
man, is that movie going to suck.
